E...Em..Emo..Emotions...
Every failure, I believe, is the closest failure to success. All what we need is a strong desire to win. No matter the goals are too small, stretch it as long as we are able to visualize success as attainable. One method to relieve the tension is by attacking the toughest goal first. A goal, stretched with strong desire to achieve it and enough understanding of how things work will help in succeeding. By-products of failure can be external and internal. Internal consequences are the most severe emotional disorders which is expressed as anger, lack of self confidence and disrespect. Here are few ways that helps me overcome these emotional barriers :
Never say "I have so many things to do" - This is the very essence of confidence. When you have to many things in hand try to prioritizing each of the job based on time and resource availability. This will enhance the effectiveness of the work done and ends in perfection.
Never let any one over rule your emotions - A leader has a strong emotional balance. S/he must not spill their emotional discomforts from one task over to another. For example, if you feel some kind of humiliation working with your boss or a team, you must disclose it frankly and with confidence to the people who are in that team or your boss instead of muttering complaints that are unproductive and unethical. This kind of act can lead our emotions to get influenced by others thoughts and believes which could be even more destructive.
Accept the way people are - I had an experience working in two different teams, which were five members each. Mental chemistry of these members were terrific as we all had different educational, cultural and ethnic background and I felt I was working in six different countries as there were different nationalities! It was a common saying that Indians have a clear understanding of time management! It was a joke among most of the US nationalities I was working with. There were people who were completely dependent on team work as they either did not know what they were doing or had better jobs to do. So, we had a clear understanding about each of the team members while dividing the tasks within the group. Understanding each of our team members and accepting the way they are helped me avoid conflicts.
Believe in yourself - I have a strong belief that confidence can change my future! Who else other than I could have faith in my strengths and capabilities? Every challenges must be lived through. So, have faith in one self and walk ahead. If possible rush through the tough times ASAP! Every day try to wake up with a full day's plan and a vision of your ultimate goals. This will enrich your confidence.
Always keep in mind, " the strongest steel passes through the hottest furnace" Keep moving folks...
